Why ApexTone

The estimate you get is the invoice you pay

We built this company on the complaints people had about their last HVAC contractor. No surprise line items, no scare tactics, no salesperson in a technician's shirt.

  • Flat-rate pricing, approved before we start

You see the total for the repair — parts, labour and disposal — and you approve it before any work begins. No hourly meter running.

  • Owner-run, not a franchise call centre

Your call is answered by someone who knows the job. The same technicians come back for warranty visits, so nothing gets lost in translation.

  • Two-year labour warranty on installations

Manufacturer warranty on the equipment, ours on the workmanship. Both registered for you on the day of install.

  • We leave it cleaner than we found it

Drop cloths down, shoe covers on, old equipment and packaging taken with us. Your driveway shouldn't look like a job site afterwards.

What neighbours say

4.9 stars across 127 reviews

★★★★★

Our AC died on the hottest weekend of the year. They picked up on a Sunday, were here in ninety minutes, and had us cold again for a fair flat price. No upsell, no drama.

Maria R.Torrance · AC repair
★★★★★

Third quote we got for a full system replacement and the only one that actually measured the house instead of eyeballing it. Install was clean, permit handled, rebate paperwork done for us.

Daniel K.Gardena · New installation
★★★★★

They maintain four rooftop units on our building. Scheduled visits actually happen, reports arrive the same day, and we have not had an unplanned shutdown since we switched.

Questions

Straight answers, before you call

How fast can you get to my property?

Most South Bay calls placed before 2 pm are handled the same day. Emergency no-cool and no-heat calls are dispatched 24/7 and our average arrival time is under two hours.

Do you charge for estimates?

Estimates for new systems, replacements and commercial projects are always free. A diagnostic visit on an existing system carries a flat service-call fee, and we waive it entirely when you approve the repair.

Should I repair my system or replace it?

A useful rule of thumb: replace if the unit is over 12 years old and the repair costs more than a third of a new system. We put both numbers in front of you and explain the efficiency difference — then it's your call. We never push a replacement you don't need.

Do you handle permits and rebates?

Yes. We pull the city permit for every installation that requires one, and we prepare the paperwork for available utility and federal efficiency rebates on qualifying equipment so you're not chasing it alone.

What payment methods do you take?

Cash, all major credit cards, ACH and bank transfer. Financing is available on system replacements — ask us for current terms when we quote.

Ready for a comfortable house again?

Tell us what's going on and we'll give you an honest answer — free estimates on every installation and replacement.
